The 2016 Carolina-Clemson football rivalry will be the occasion for a friendly competition in local United Methodist churches, sponsored by the Wesley Foundations at the University of South Carolina and Clemson University.
Fans of each school are invited to drop their support in either a USC/garnet bucket or a Clemson/orange bucket as they leave worship on Sunday, Nov. 20 (Nov. 27 is an alternate date). Donations will go to support the students and United Methodist campus ministries at USC and Clemson.
Checks can be made out to Clemson Wesley Foundation. Contributions should be sent to the Clemson Wesley Foundation with “Carolina/Clemson Challenge” as a notation with the amounts for each school.
Results will be tabulated and bragging rights issued.
