The Clergy Retirement Security Program provides lifetime income and account flexibility for retired United Methodist clergy. The program is designed to provide participants with a portion of their overall retirement benefits.

Retiree Health Plan

Eligibility

To qualify for the Retiree Health Plan, participants must have been covered in the conference health care plan for 10 years continuous and consecutive at the time of retirement. Spouses are eligible if they were covered in the conference health care plan for five years continuous and consecutive at the time of participant’s retirement.

Retiree Health Benefits Plan (pdf)

2022 premium for those retired in 2015 or earlier
Subsidy: $181.56/month for each eligible person

2022 premium for those retired in 2016 and after
Subsidy: $281.56/month for each eligible person
