In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, United Methodist Committee on Relief is calling for churches to help make cleaning buckets and health kits to distribute to survivors.
UMCOR said the 18,930 cleaning buckets in their inventory as of the end of October will all be distributed by Thanksgiving, if not before.
The latest information on the proper contents of the buckets is available on the UMCOR website click on Relief-Supply Kits. Buckets should be delivered to the Conference Office and placed in the trailer in the parking lot.
