The Rev. Junius B. Dotson – general secretary of Discipleship Ministries – will be the presenter at the Fall 2019 Clergy Orders Gathering of the South Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church on Nov. 7 at Union UMC in Irmo.
The purpose of the gathering – “Resetting Our Souls” – is to learn to walk through our difficult seasons with our souls connected to the source of living water by reordering our lives around spiritual practices, and to learn to lift one another up and point one another back to Jesus.
The gathering will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Union UMC, 7582 Woodrow St., Irmo. Registration is $12, which includes lunch. Deadline to register is 5 p.m. Oct. 28.
