St. Stephen UMC, a 1,200 member United Methodist Church in suburban South Charlotte, seeks full-time Youth Director for middle school and high school youth ministries. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting directly to the Senior Pastor and administratively to the Staff-Parish Relations Committee.
With approximately 60 active youth, we have a long history of a very strong youth ministry program with active, committed adult volunteers, as well as modern, dedicated facilities for our youth program including classrooms, kitchen café and a large youth ministry center.
Responsibilities include directing and supporting our youth ministry and encouraging, modeling and executing the youth vision and mission as follows:
