FVUMC is a thriving church family with a great deal of history and a great deal of potential energy ready to serve our fast-growing and diverse town. Two new families a day move to our area. To our south, we expect 15,000 new neighbors in the next decade. Our community needs our church to thrive, to develop leaders, and to send people out to care and serve. Come be a part of this awesome movement!

The work of the Director of Youth & Family Ministries (6th-12th grade) is so important. In 2022, one of our congregational imperatives is to Cultivate Community – to care for the communities that exist and also to give life to new places for people to connect. We have a vibrant youth ministry drawing students from many surrounding communities. There is a rock solid team of adult volunteers and an active youth leadership team to work alongside you developing strategies and equipping our youth and parents as they strengthen their faith. In everything, we hope to help our church family build meaningful relationships with Jesus, with each other, and with our community.

You will serve as a vital part of our discipleship team and work closely with the Director of Children & Family Ministries and the Director of Discipleship. You will join a staff that feels called to serve, that’s got each other’s backs, and that laughs together often. On the fence about working here? Come hang out with us – we’d love to meet you and have you over for lunch.

We look forward to hearing from you! If you have questions, contact us at jobs@fvumc.org. Ready to apply? Please email your cover letter and resume to jobs@fvumc.org.
