Friends, an overnight fire destroyed New Hope United Methodist Church in Huger, one of the churches that comprise the St. Thomas Charge in the Charleston District of the South Carolina Conference of The United Methodist Church.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.
We know that God is our refuge, our strength, our ever-present help during times such as this. We are grateful to all of the firefighters and emergency personnel who responded to the fire.
