River Road United Methodist Church, a medium sized and missional minded church in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a Director of Student and Adult Discipleship. This position will work to draw both students (6th-12th grades) and adults into a deeper relationship with Christ. This position is twofold in focus. First, it will work to create a relevant and engaging ministry with students and their families. Secondly, it will work to innovate and strategically offer a range of small group discipleship opportunities for adults of all ages and life stages. This is a full-time position that offers a salary commensurate with experience as well as a benefit stipend. This position requires a person who is committed to their faith in Jesus Christ, is highly organized, can initiate and activate new programs and events, and holds excellent relational skills. They must also have a high comfort level with technology, social media, and a motivation to leverage technology as a means for ministry and outreach.
