As the conference migrates to a new email system, accounts will be moved in groups. As your email address is moved, you will be notified prior to the migration and afterwards through email. The NEW email system is worth taking a look. Those familiar with gmailwill find much very familiar, but a few added bonus. One of which is the 25gb user space (twice that of a personal gmail account).If you are unsure of whether your account has been migrated, simply attempt to login to the Migrated Users link below; if your account exists on the NEW system, you're moved. Your account will continue to exist on the OLD system for some time, but no email will be delivered to that account.
Hints
- If you are checking your email on the web only and login to the OLD system and see an email stating your account is being migrated, login to the NEW system and look for an email stating your migration was successful.
- If you are using the auto-forward component of the OLD system, you will receive an email with your conference email address and email password, login to the NEW email system and establish an auto-forward if desired
- Once your account has been migrated and you want to add your umcsc.org account to your smartphone
For Android OS’s, it is a google account; be sure to use your entire email address, user@umcsc.org, as the username in the setup.
For iPhones and iPads, setup your umcsc.org account as an Exchange Account. The server is m.google.com and use your full email address as the username.
