The Fellowship of South Carolina Bishops’ annual Fall Dialogue is a chance to discuss the opportunity we have to address the racial inequalities that affect the education of all children in South Carolina – and how churches, working together, can make a potential difference.

The gathering will take place from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017, at Shandon United Methodist Church, 3407 Devine St., Columbia.

Dr. Drew G. I. Hart, author of “Trouble I’ve Seen: Changing the Way the Church Views Racism,” will be the keynote speaker.

The $15 cost includes a light supper. Registration deadline is Oct. 6.

The Fellowship of South Carolina Bishops is a special ecumenical relationship among S.C. churches overseen by an episcopal polity – including the S.C. Conference of the United Methodist Church.
